For those of us old enough to remember the fun and antics of packing the family into the car for a night at the Drive-In – you may be interested in taking a trip down memory lane at the Flicks in the Park that’s about to kick off in Coolum. Whilst you may not be able to sit in your car you will have the parkland to lay out whatever comforts and treats you bring along and enjoy a night at the movies under the stars.

I loved the Drive-Ins. They were fun as a family event and a right of passage once you managed to get your own set of wheels. Ahhh the memories of finding popcorn in your car years after the event.

Coolum Business & Tourism is due a round of applause for bringing another fabulous screening of Flicks in the Park to Tickle Park in Coolum. And yes it’ll be yet great, coastal family event.

Bring along a rug and enjoy a movie under the stars with your family and friends. Screening commences at 6.30pm ish (we are on the coast after all).
