The Sunshine Coast is known for quite a few things. Primarily beaches, but also something of a foodie mecca. Amazing chefs from around the world populate our coastline with their mouth-watering fair. This year we’re celebrating the amazing gourmet displays that our golden strip of coast has to offer at Noosa Eat & Drink Festival. Spread over four salivation filled days from 14-17 May 2020, Noosa Eat & Drink Festival is an annual love affair of great food, drinks, live music and entertainment in one of Australia’s favourite foodie destinations. More than stuffing your face, this year’s festival has an amazing array of classes, experiences, tastings, talks, and showings to satisfy any of your mouth-bound curiosities.
For those who love their food, chefs are rock stars – and the guest list this year is star-studded. Every event is held, directed, managed, designed and catered for by an amazing array of both local and international talent that is sure to astound. One of the most notable names on the list, and the man in charge of the festival’s finale dinner, is the incredible Neil Perry of Rockpool fame. This Australian goliath of the food world founded the Rockpool Dining Group, which has restaurants around the country. His mastery of his craft is quite incredible, and his creations not to be missed.
Speaking of master chefs, both Gary Mehigan and Matt Preston will also be in attendance this year, shedding some of their wisdom and dazzling your taste buds. For you Master Chef fans there are a few more previous contestants peppered amongst the guest list – so keep an eye out for your favourites.
