Big Boys and Their Bigger Toys – Big Boys Toys Expo

Calling all serious motor heads, extreme fishermen, adrenaline junkies, and all round Australian outdoorsmen, the Sunshine Coast has something all new just for you. The annual Big Boys Toys expo is coming to town this November 11th to the 12th, and has something for every gadget man and Big Boy with every toy. This event is all about local businesses strutting their stuff for your viewing pleasure – from ATVs, Cars, Trucks and Bikes, to the latest and greatest in fishing accessories, camping and hunting gear and so much more.

This year the Big Boys Toys Expo is coming to the Sharks Club in Caloundra for it’s first time on the Sunshine Coast on a mission to showcase the best toys our local businesses can provide – and it doesn’t stop there with plenty of entertainment lined up over the massive two days, including; Monster truck specials, live bands, and for the kids – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be making a totally radical appearance – making this Big Boys Toys expo the largest ever held on the East Coast. The exhibitors lined up this year include names such as Milwaukee Tools, BCF, ARB 4×4 Accessories, Snap Fitness, Infiniti Cars, Weber Barbeques, Sony, Tesla, Yamaha, Mini Cooper, Mako Fishing, Suzuki Motorbikes, Ford Trucks, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, Mack Trucks, Ryobi and so much more. From tools, to trucks to every kind of Big Boys Toys this expo has it all, and locally sourced.

While the monster trucks are sure to impress, and I’ll definitely be the oldest guy asking for a photo with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, what I’m looking forward to most is seeing just what kind of innovations are being made right here on the Sunshine Coast across the board – seeing just what it is we can do with a truck, a bike, or a fishing rod that no one else can or has done before. What kind of grill evolutions are developing right here in my backyard? Camping revolutions?  Or maybe some cool new gadgets for my bike – whatever it is we have to offer, I’m sure it will be worth seeing.
