Mother’s Day – Pier 33 Mother’s Day Brunch

For those horrible adult-children amongst you that have forgotten, Mother’s Day is fast approaching – the one day a year you’re obligated to do something, or at the very least say something, as a thank you for the woman who brought you into this world (probably while cussing your father out). At a loss as to what to do to honour such an amazing person that let you literally feed off of her for however long?

Pier 33 have you covered. Pier 33 is one of the Sunshine Coasts most fantastic casual dining restaurants with a spectacular atmosphere overlooking the Mooloolaba Marina with its blue skies and bluer waters. Flanked by swaying palms and boats gently bobbing in their moorings, with every meal designed to celebrate the fantastic local produce, it truly is a gem in the Sunshine Coast’s crown.

Spots are limited, with the 13th of May fast approaching, so I suggest you book yourself and your mother a spot for Pier 33’s Mother’s Day Brunch quickly. The brunch promises to be quite spectacular, with a menu specifically designed by head chef Simon Taylor. His vision for the menu, is to take inspiration from the brunch scene of New York, where the between-breakfast-and-lunch meal has taken on a life of it’s own, and adapt it to the fantastic local produce the Sunshine Coast provides us. In other words – Mimosas with freshly squeezed orange juice are on the menu!

Mothers deserve a lot of respect. They forsake their body’s, their health, sometimes careers and social lives just to give birth to and raise their children – and we’re all someone’s children. This May 13th, treat your wonderful matriarch to some good food and an atmosphere that will help make up for your horrible company, which honestly she’ll enjoy anyway.
