Offbeat Music Festival is a fresh face here on the Sunshine Coast and its inaugural kick-off begins noon Saturday, 2nd of November. Hosted by The Imperial Hotel Eumundi, this event is something a little peculiar, a little left of center, and a whole lot of fun. Offbeat promises to bring together a vibrant community of musicians, artists, and performers for your pleasure. The lineup itself is an incredible mix of genres and artists who like to push boundaries and make some sweet tunes for you to let your hair down too. The bill so far is shaping up as follows; The Beautiful Girls, Vaudeville Smash, OKA, Kallidad, Blues Arcadia, Black Rabbit George, Ayla, Ruby Gilbert, Dorah Jacson, Fragile Animals, First Beige, and many, many more. With this many acts across 5 stages, as well as DJs and more – there isn’t a moment to be wasted being bored.

The Imperial Hotel is one hell of a venue. Since 1911 it has been welcoming travellers and locals alike through its doors and offering shelter, food and most importantly, beer. Not only is the venue a true blue Ozzie pub, but it’s also a brewery – the Eumundi Brewery. Eumundi Lager was first brewed back in 1988, but for years the brand was thought dead, until 2017 when the Imperial Hotel, in partnership with Lion, rebuild the brewery on-site and revived the once much loved frosty beer brand. Food is of course also very important – if you happen to work up an appetite busting out the electric slide on the dance floor there is an incredible menu on offer with something for everyone, featuring pub faves to more contemporary dishes. So if you need to sober up, or maybe get your buzz on first before taking the leap onto the dance-floor, the Imperial has you covered.
