The Caloundra Music Festival – ‘Sun, Surf, and Soul’, is set once again to grace us this year with all things Sunny, Soulful, and Surfy – from a musical point of view anyway. Starting on the 4th of October the first bands in an incredible line up will begin to wow and serenade you, followed by three more days of talent and musical magnificent set to the backdrop of breathtaking Caloundra beach. Included in the line-up are some huge names, including: Diesel, Harts, Jet, Missy Higgins, and Regurgitator – as well as a huge list of local and international acts, beyond just music, to fill the stage and your long weekend.

Every year, the festival sets out with a vision to create an experience that incorporates the diverse culture of the Sunshine Coast region and a sustainable attitude in its operation for the benefit all of its patrons. The goal of the event is to: stimulate the local economy by bringing in music fans and talents from the world over; to showcase Caloundra and the surrounding Sunshine Coast as the vibrant and diverse tourist destination that it is; celebrate the region’s unique heritage, character, culture, and local creative talents; encourage community participation and to build capacity, while also embracing our unique environment and to promote the Council’s Vision of sustainability for the Sunshine Coast. This non-for-profit operations is not only family-friendly, but community and environmentally friendly.
